$22 per hour for 1 child

I speak two languages: Spanish and English. I can cook. I enjoy teaching; I am patient and loving. I have a 14-month-old son. For two and a half years, I cared for a pair of twins living with the family; I qas making their food, took to the school, etc. I have drive license. I am a certified •Pediatric CPR • Preventive Health and Safety for Child Care Providers •Child Abuse & Neglect Mandated Reporter Training.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Gris care for our twin boys from age one to two. She is warm, kind, and easygoing, and created a loving, calm environment that our children truly thrived in. She consistently went above and beyond—often preparing meals in advance and making sure the kids were well-fed with thoughtful, home-cooked food. More importantly, she was deeply engaged in their development. She taught them so much during her time with us, including Spanish, early literacy (letters), and foundational math skills, all in a way that was natural and fun for them. It’s clear how much she genuinely cares about the children she looks after. We’ve been very impressed by her dedication, patience, and initiative. Our boys learned a great deal and were always happy in her care. We highly, highly recommend her to any family looking for someone dependable, nurturing, and proactive.

She was so kind and helped me with my daughter last minute. She was willing to make the drive to us to help. She was easy going, calm & patient. Didn’t have an issue with any bedtime duties. Will be calling her back :)

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
