I’ve dedicated my life to working with children and families—from fostering for four years in Nevada to supporting children with autism through Autism Learning Partners and LAUSD as a Behavior Technician. I’ve provided in-home specialized care, taught basic skills, and nurtured kids’ growth through reading and art. As a Lyft/Uber driver, I also safely transport kids and seniors. CHILD CARETAKER: * I absolutely love kids. I’m one of those "born to be a child caretaker" type of women. I have been taking care of children since before my boys (5 & 7) were born. Once my boys started school full-time, I began increasing my hours. We relocated to my husband’s parents home in Rhode Island during Covid. We returned to LA to start the new school year, and I’m returning to child care full time. * I provide parents with the confidence their child(s) are safe, happy, and well cared for. Previously through word-of-mouth, I've aggressively used UrbanSitter since August. * I’ve babysat months-old infants, supervised older children, and everywhere in-between. I had a live-in Nanny when both my sons were born. From this experience, I learned 1st hand how an extra pair of hand can save a new-mom’s sanity. * Difficult and/or active kids are no issue. I’ve never found a child whom didn’t respond well to my care. My husband and I have NEVER spanked our children. Timeouts, communication, & firm directions are more than adequate to correct a child's behavior. I’m very patient & understanding with all children. 2. I graduated from East LoS Angeles Community college. I received my associates in child development. I just received my bachelors at Cal State LA in Child Development. I used to be a foster mother so I know transitions can be hard for some children. I have two children of my own but they are now in elementary and I am looking to work in taking care of others peoples beautiful children in the process. I am a dog mom as well therefore I don’t mind taking walks around the block with your little one and your fur baby if that is something you’re interested in. Being outdoors and showing children, elderly and pets how beautiful the day is something I enjoy doing. I am familiar with IEP therefore if your child needs extra help by communicating with baby sign language I can help with that. The one thing I like to mention is I know my alphabet in 3 different languages and I find it a fun thing to teach children. Working on cognitive, gros motor and fine motor skills is also an important factor for me that I would love to implement with your child if you are interested. 😊

I am fluent in both Spanish and English and would love to incorporate both if that is something of interest. Taught English in an amazing Elementary in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. I enjoy being around kids, and feel that creating a connection with them comes at ease.
