So I have personal experience with my own children. My most recent Babysitter position was with a family of five whose children ranged from ages 2 to 12. I'm sure you can imagine the constant commotion involved in caring for five children, but it's the kind of challenge I find fun and exciting. Three days a week, I helped the older kids get ready for school and then stayed with the younger children until their parents got home from work. During the day, the younger children and I would play games, do arts and crafts, enjoy educational activities and have a home-cooked lunch. I was also available to care for the older children when they stayed home sick from school or to babysit nights and weekends when the parents wanted a date night. My clients have often expressed appreciation for my adaptability, enthusiasm and ability to handle any type of situation. Since my most recent clients moved out of state for a job promotion, I currently have a very flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
