Hi! My name is Alexia but I go by Mars! I am 24 years old, and I am an actress and musician. I have been babysitting & nannying children since I was 12, and grew up in a big family so I’ve always been around kids. I have worked with children from newborns to 15 year olds. I have worked with a few great families long term in the past couple of years most recently a job that ended in july, and can provide recent references upon request :) I love taking care of children and am a very creative person so I love doing activities such as drawing, painting, cooking, reading, helping with homework etc. Making sure that they are safe and happy is my top priority. I am fully vaccinated and can provide proof. I am also willing to help with housework and cleaning if necessary. I have a reliable means of transportation as well so if they need rides, I am happy to do so. I am a very responsible and patient person and your child will always be my first priority no matter what. I am available to interview and get to know your family whenever just let me know, I look forward to meeting you and hopefully helping your family out! :)

Mars cared for my 1-year old son for 5 days a week summer 2023 while I worked remotely. She was always on time and communicated clearly throughout the day. Mars is great at following a lunch/nap/snack schedule — so important for children at this age (and mine in particular, really thrives on a schedule). Mars is cautious, caring, and kind. I felt like she always put my child’s interests first.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
