Hi! My name is Ellie, and I'm currently a senior at the Branson High School. I am headed to Carnegie Mellon in the fall and would love to help out with child and animal care before I go! I am certified in CPR & AED, and have a California driver's license (which I've had for 1.5 years). My experience is listed below. This past summer, I was a camp counselor at the Bay Club in Ross Valley, where I was co-responsible for a group of 15-20 kids, ages 5-10. I lead them in a variety of activities, including tennis, pickleball, swimming, and arts & crafts projects. I took care of kids’ dress, care, and food needs (serving them lunch, helping them change during transition times, making sure they had proper sun protection, etc). I will be a counselor again this coming summer. My sophomore year in high school, I was a volunteer tutor at Davidson Middle School. I taught a variety of school subjects one-on-one to middle school students (ages 11-13), goal set and planned out students’ calendars to maximize success, and collaborated with other tutors to create group study sessions based on subjects.
