Booked by 2 families in Seal Beach, CA

Hi! My name is Andrea, and I have worked with kids for a little over 6 years now. I started babysitting kids in my family and realized that I loved being a positive change in a child's life. I truly found a passion for caring for them, playing and interacting with them, making their meals, and assisting them with school assignments. Since 2021, I've been consistently working as a part-time nanny for different families, and as of 2022, I've been an after-school program teacher for kindergartners all the way to fifth graders. I love interacting with kids of all different ages and making their days brighter as much as they make mine. I am also aware of the different schedules that I get handed from different families and am very well with carefully follow parental instructions regarding schedules, chores, discipline, and free time. I'm looking forward to meeting new families and to growing great connections.

Andrea was amazing and sweet. Helped with house stuff and was great with my 3 month old. Would hire her again!

My responsibilities have included tutoring, crafting, outdoor and indoor activities, preparing lunch or snacks, cleaning up messes, pick up and drop off etc. I have been a caretaker to my Grandmother in her 80s since I was 14 years old so I also offer senior care. Katrina once again is very prompt she comes at her designated time. The girls are feeling very comfortable, she receives them with respect. I too feel very confident with letting her take my grandchildren to school I’m adding to this review. Katrina worked for us for over 2/ 1/2 months. She also worked when she went back to school. I feel very confident with her. She responded quickly when I needed more days even though her schedule was different. I appreciate her loyalty to assist.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
