Hello I have been caring for children for over 10 years. I have extensive experience with children of all ages, especially with infants and toddlers. I studied child development and early childhood education in college and am passionate about my work. I'm patient, calm, and love to have fun with kids. I like taking them outside, exploring in nature, playing with water, going for walks, playing pretend, reading books, games/puzzles, building with legos & doing arts/crafts.

I have worked with elementary school children ever since I was in middle school in a variety of settings: afterschool care jobs, tutoring, and dance class teachers. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in elementary special education and was a teacher in Hawaii for 3.5 years and tutored for more years in California. I am currently a mental health therapist and have worked with children and teens.

I am a retired nurse with many years of professional healthcare experience, providing compassionate and attentive care to individuals of all ages. Throughout my nursing career, I developed strong skills in patient care, safety, health monitoring, and responding calmly and effectively to a variety of situations. Since retiring, I have continued to stay active in caregiving by helping care for my granddaughter on an as-needed basis. This ongoing experience allows me to remain engaged in supporting a child’s daily needs, including feeding, diaper changes, playtime, comforting, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment. My background in nursing gives me a strong understanding of child health, development, and overall well-being, while my experience as a grandmother has further strengthened my patience, warmth, and ability to connect with children. I take pride in providing dependable, attentive, and loving care, ensuring that children feel safe, supported, and encouraged as they grow and learn.

At Fullerton College, I immersed myself in child development courses, earning my Associate's Degree and Childhood Teacher Certificate while gaining hands-on experience at the campus preschool. After a few years in various preschools, I returned to complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Pacific Oaks College. This blend of education and practical experience has allowed me to create fun and supportive environments where children can thrive.
