Hello, my name is Winter! I'm a recent Sac State graduate with a BA in Deaf Studies and a minor in Childhood Development, and I'm fluent in both English and American Sign Language (ASL). I have experience working with kids, seniors, and pets - most recently as an in-class signing aide supporting Deaf and hard-of-hearing children. I love connecting with the people and animals I work with, and I try to bring patience, flexibility, and genuine care to everything I do. My teaching experience goes back to my time at Sac State, where I worked as an ASL tutor for fellow students. As someone with ADHD myself, I find it very important to work with students' unique learning styles and at their own pace; an approach I bring to any tutoring or homework help I provide now.
