Sonoma
$20 per hour for 1 child

Hello parents! I'm a 24-year-old looking to be able to spend extra time with children and being able to help parents who may need some relief in the evenings to go out and have fun! I started working with kids right after highschool, and I volunteered frequently in classrooms and have been working the YMCA's aftercare program! I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I have at least 3 years of paid experience and 4+ years of volunteer work and experience with children! I'm an artist in my free time! And I enjoy incorporating artwork in most of my day to day life and job and love watching kids explore the world of art. I also love to cook and would be happy to meal prep! I thrive to be a good and fun experience with kids, working with children has been a huge passion and driving point for my future and I enjoy working with kids at my day job a whole lot. It's been insanely rewarding. I am also great with pets and would love to watch/house sit if needed!

I’ve hired this babysitter multiple times to watch my 6 year old son and he is absolutely enamored with him as am I! He is phenomenal with children and would do well in any environment/job in which he has to work with them. He excels at really getting on a child’s level and relating to them and has incredible patience as well. He also truly has a knack for creating an imaginative and engaging environment for children. I’d recommend him to anyone I know that needs a babysitter/any position that entails working with children.

I transferred to SSU in 2023 to obtain my BA, I graduated in May 2025 in Liberal Arts with a minor in Sociology. I have also worked with kids with special needs and have a lot of patience and love all aspects of it. I do not smoke and I am pediatric CPR certified! In my spare time, I like to read outside and enjoy the beautiful town I live in. I enjoy shopping with my mom and spending time with my family and friends as well. I am a very down-to-earth girl who loves to volunteer in the community and connect with kids. Born and raised here in town and have great references. I would love to play an older sibling role in someone's life.

Iryna Sonoma
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi, my name is Iryna and I am a former preschool teacher. I worked at the nature school in Texas that focused on outside classroom environment and regio inspired education. I loved working with children in the environment where they can climb trees, go on daily hikes, and interact with the nature as an educational tool. I received a degree in education specializing in special education from University of Houston. Additionally, I worked as a nanny, caregiver to seniors as well as household assistant. I can cook, clean, and run errands. I recently moved to Sonoma CA and really enjoy the area. In my free time I enjoy hiking and spending time with my friends and family. I am a big animal lover, I am a mom to two fur babies Danny and Jazz.

Bibiana Sonoma
$27 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Sonoma, CA

Hello! My name is Bibiana which means “lively” which perfectly reflects who I am as a person. I am an energetic, curious and people-loving person. I enjoy connecting with others and creating positive environments. I am the oldest of three and Spanish is my first language. Last year I completed my first half marathon and I am currently training for another one. I have experience with all ages from 3 months to building a friendship with them once they are off to their teenage years. One of my favorite parts of being a child care provider is watching the children reach big milestones. It is incredibly rewarding to support their growth and be part of their development. Working with children reminds me every day that learning is a two way street. They teach me just as much as I teach them and being part of that journey is truly a gift. I can provide my resume and my letters of references upon request. Can’t wait to meet you! Thank you!

Petaluma
$35 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 77 families in Sonoma, CA

Hi my name is Juana, I've been working with kids for 20+ years. I enjoy seeing children development physically and emotionally. I love to take kids to walks or to the park. I like cooking and I don't mind light cleaning. I have an ECE associate from SRJC, and I’m working on getting my ECE certificate. I would provide local references after we meet up in person and decide we are a good fit. Cancellation policy: because babysitting it's my main source of income I require 50% of the booking if you need to cancel a booking with 24 hours. 100% of the booking if you cancel with 12 hours notice. I require a minimum of 4 hour per booking. Also I require to get paid the time I get booked even if you come home earlier. Because I have full time nanny job and I’m protecting my regular nanny kids, I do not take care of children if they are sick with a fever over 102, or any contagious virus. Thank you for understanding. Also my rates will change if kids are from different families. -Thanks for reading.

We hired Juana to look after our 7mo old son. She was a natural from the moment she walked in our home, providing us with great comfort along with a safe and happy environment for our son. After we provided a quick overview of his routine, Juana helped right away. It’s clear she loves caring for children, and making sure the time she spends with them is quality time. Whether it be reading books, walks outside, playtime or speaking in Spanish, Juana had our son’s best interest at heart. We will be using Juana again and highly recommend her to other parents.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
