Hello, I graduated from California State University of Los Angeles with a bachelors in Criminal Justice. I am offering child care, animal care, and household services. I been a babysitter since I was 14 years old and recently had the opportunity to move on from childcare of two children that I been with for years! While that move was sad, I was glad I had the opportunity to watch them grow! My childcare services include, infant, toddlers, and kids. However, I worked more with infants and toddlers! My duties included cooking, cleaning, creation of crafts/games, driving to/from school, parks, and groceries stores. My hobbies are painting, working out, and cooking! I love animals and don’t mind working with them!

My son had a great time talking with and playing with Katie! She engaged him in all his special interests. She arrived on time and tidied all the toys up afterwards too 🙂

Hello! My name is Cameron. I moved out here from Boston a few years ago and am excited to meet your family! Previously, I studied music therapy at Berklee College of Music before coming here to pursue music. I am offering child care, senior care, and pet care. During my music therapy studies, I focused on helping children with communication and social skills, and seniors with cognitive ability and memory care. I’m passionate about helping people of all ages express themselves and learn. I’ve been babysitting for various families in my hometown since my early teens, and love spending time with children. My responsibilities included driving kids to and from school, performing household duties, tutoring (any subject but math 😅), crafts, and music lessons. I have also taken care of my grandparents and great grandparents and feel very comfortable around seniors. Before she passed, I loved playing jazz songs for my great grandma and listening to stories from her past. I also have a dog and multiple cats, and would be happy to help you with any pet related needs. Please reach out if you feel that I would be a good fit for your family. I’m wishing you luck on your hunt for a caregiver!

My 5 year old son had a great time playing with Cameron! Lots of fun imaginative play.

Hello! I would love the opportunity to support your family. I am a 25-year-old graduate student at California State University, Los Angeles, and I currently work as a substitute teacher with LAUSD. Working with children is something I truly enjoy, and I have extensive experience caring for and supporting kids of different ages. I am CPR certified, non-smoking, and very dependable. I also have experience helping children with homework, reading support, arts and crafts, and engaging activities that are both fun and educational. In addition, I am very attentive to maintaining a clean and organized environment, so light housekeeping and cleaning up after the children would never be a problem. I am comfortable around pets and enjoy being in family-oriented environments. Growing up, my mother owned a daycare, which gave me years of hands-on experience caring for children and understanding the importance of patience, structure, and kindness. I would love to learn more about your family and see if I may be a great fit for your needs. Thank you for your time and consideration! :)

I prioritize arts and active play, with minimal to no television (except when necessary to soothe children). I teach kids yoga, and I like to teach them about nutritious food which improves their mood. I have 38 years experience caring for kids and I'm a mom myself. I'm an Ivy league graduate who specializes in child development and conflict resolution.

Michele was great! She was very nice and great with my kids! Will definitely be using her again.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
