Peace! My name is Jaime, and I am a dedicated nanny/babysitter. I have over 5 years of experience working with families as a nanny, doula, postpartum work and more. I have gained the reputation that I am responsible, energetic, a great listener, open-minded, & have a free spirit approach. Growing up in a fairly large household has led me to babysit most of my teenage and adult life. Additionally, I am well experienced with children from infants to toddlers and up! I’m CPR certified, have a license, am a certified full-spectrum doula, as well as a certified Reiki Practioner and am a Holistic Nutritionist currently studying for the board exam. As a doula, I care for pregnant moms on their spiritual journey into motherhood, as well as helping postpartum, and as a Reiki healer, I give energy healing to mothers! I’m currently open to help a family FULL TIME with postpartum help and or support with newborns/ infants.

I keep my calendar updated! Quick facts! I live in Mid City but always glad to commute if needed. Allergic to cats, but if I take a claritin before I'm fine, just please let me know if you have them so I can prepare! It makes a huge difference for me. :') Joined Urban Sitter in college and built very long relationships. I work a 9-5 but have flexibility working remotely! Experience: I've been on Urban Sitter for almost 10 years. 😱 Additionally, I have three nephews that are now aged 8, 6 and 10 months. Been a part of every (brick by brick) step for all three of them, and it's been a joy. I really enjoy watching kids grow, especially at 4-6 months when they start getting smiley and laugh-y. Lots of infant and tollder experience...bathing, feeding (formula, frozen breastmilk, solids) naps, bedtime, diapers... When it comes to rules/discipline, I'll honor your requests (screen time, homework, activities, etc). Hopefully needless to say am not physical... when it comes to discipline I'll usually go for avoiding any stressful triggers, distracting, talking through feelings, etc. More about me... in my free time I like to watch movies, read, and practice piano! Currently in a data career pivot where I’m working pretty hard on my laptop during the week, with the benefits of being flexible and remote, and I've really been enjoying it.

Vanessa’s skill with kids is unmatched - she made an instant connection with my 4yo daughter when they met for the first time on a trip we took to Mexico City. Her patience, tenderness and creativity was a marvel to witness, and she gracefully supported my little one’s occasional meltdowns. My daughter is so excited for the next time she gets to play with auntie Vanessa!

Hi! I’m Mia. I’m new to the urbansitter app, I’m a high school graduate, and I am looking to build up my childcare experience to become a full-time nanny in the future. I genuinely enjoy being around kids, teaching, and nurturing their growth. I have hands-on experience working with children of all ages, from toddlers all the way up to early teens. I pride myself on being incredibly patient, attentive, and responsible. In my free time, I am a very outgoing person who loves hiking and traveling. I am completely flexible and available for all hours, including last-minute backup care and weekend shifts. I look forward to meeting your family!

Mia was so helpful and attentive to my son’s need. She followed the itinerary I provided, and did everything I asked. She is so sweet and understanding, my son LOVES HER! Already booking her again for the coming week. She is great with kids!!

Hi, I'm Malia! I am 30 years old and have been working in childcare since 2011. I spent the last 3 years as a nanny for a family caring for the children from 4 months-3 years old. Before that, I spent 5 years working as a substitute teacher at an early childhood education center where I worked with infants through Pre-K classes. I graduated from Portland State University in 2019. I love to go on walks, explore parks & neighborhoods, dance, sing, play guitar, read, and bake. Creativity and mindfulness are very important to me. I am hoping to share my care and optimism with your children and whole family. I am currently available for occasional sitting as well as flexible week to week schedules.

Mailia was great, upbeat, professional and helpful

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
