*Fully-vaccinated* Currently ISO full-time nannying position for Summer 2026. Hi! My name is Alyssa. I have over 11 years of babysitting experience with children of all ages, including infants. I am a full-time MSW student at UCLA (graduating this Spring) and part-time yoga teacher at North Ray Yoga. Outside of work, I spend my time enjoying the company of friends, hiking, reading novels, dancing, and playing instruments. I am very outgoing and energetic, and really enjoy engaging kids in music, outdoor activities, and reading. During my first year field placement for my MSW degree, I spent 500 hours at an elementary school providing 1:1 therapy and group social-emotional development sessions. In the past, I have volunteered in an early intervention center for children with ASD and other developmental differences. I am bilingual (English and Spanish), and very comfortable around pets. My goal as a nanny is to provide care that is fun, educational, and compassionate. I am committed to providing the same level of care to every family I work with regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, or family structure. P.S. you may notice that my video on here is a bit outdated but I haven’t updated it because I think the content still rings true! I filmed it back in 2021 ☺️.

Alyssa is great. She worked with my family for a couple of months, 5 days a week, our morning routine before going to school with a 5 month old and 4 year old. She was great with both kids (e.g., good about doing tummy time with my infant, and playing or doing arts and crafts with my daughter), and had very good attention to detail prepping for our day (e.g., knowing all the details about meal prep, proactive about restocking diapers and taking care of all of the kids' things). She even made a checklist to make our transition to a new caregiver smooth as she was moving. The only reason she stopped working with us was that she was moving to the east coast for school / life transition. Any family would be lucky to have her.

I also have my CPR/First Aid Pediatric for adults/children; I also have my certificate for child development. I’ve been a preschool teacher for 6 years already and I couldn’t be any happier with my dream job. I love teaching and watch them get excited of their accomplishments for example help with fine-motor skills, tracing, numbers, colors etc. I can help children and elderly; and also fur babies by going for a walk and play with him/her. I am going to start my full time job soon, but feel free for part times, occasional, if you really need me just send me a DM and we can work something out, don’t hesitate I am very open minded and we can definitely fine a way to work and help out with your kiddos, Seniors, and dogs.

Rosa was great with my two little ones! 2 under 2 is definitely a challenge and she handled them well! Would hire her again.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
