$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 3 families in Valley Village, CA

Hi! My name is Sheily, and I’m 24 years old. I started nannying when I was 19 and have worked with children from 4 months to 12 years old. I’m caring, responsible, and love creating a fun, safe, and positive space for kids to grow and learn. I’m very organized and enjoy planning creative activities that keep kids engaged—whether it’s arts and crafts, outdoor games, or helping with school projects. I also assist with homework and make learning fun and encouraging. I have a reliable car and can handle school pick-ups and drop-offs. I’m happy to help with light meal prep, packing lunches, light household cleaning, grocery shopping, running errands, and even walking dogs. I’m looking to work with a family that values reliability, warmth, and open communication. I’d love the chance to meet and see if I’d be a great fit for your family!

Sheily was amazing with out 18month girl. It’s my first time hiring a sitter, so I was nervous to leave my girl, and how this would work, since my girl has been clingy at this stage. Sheily was able to calm and reassure me and Zoe immediately warmed to Sheily and I was nowhere to be seen! Sheily was attentive and took cues from our girl as to meal, play and diaper times. Such a great first experience with a babysitter that I’m looking forward to seeing Sheily again. If we weren’t simply visiting, I’d want to hire you permanently!

Hi! Im Frances (or Frankie), and I’m a dependable and friendly babysitter who loves working with kids of all ages. I’m currently studying Early Childhood Development at ECC, and through that, I’m passionate about helping children grow, learn, and feel safe in a nurturing, supportive environment. Through my coursework, I’ve gained a strong understanding of child development, age-appropriate activities, and positive behavior guidance! I love creating attention supportive, creative experiences for kids, whether that’s arts and crafts, reading together (my favorite!!) outdoor play, or fun learning activities tailored to their age and interests. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable leaving their little ones in great hands! My goal is always to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment where children feel heard, valued, and happy. I’m patient, attentive, and always focused on creating a safe and positive environment. I follow routines carefully, communicate clearly with parents, and enjoy helping kids feel supported, happy and comfortable. I’d love to help support your family in any way I can!!

Frankie was fantastic! She is polite, punctual, and organized. She was also great with the kids and jumped right in to play with them and engage them. They had a blast with her.

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 4 families in Valley Village, CA

Hi! I’m Lauren. I was born and raised in LA and am one of 3 siblings. I started babysitting my younger brother when he was 1 and I was 11, and I started working with kids ages 4+ through my middle school around that time. I spent my last 2 years of high school in south India where through my school, I helped design and execute a curriculum about puberty, feminine health, and physical safety to empower school-aged girls in rural communities. I returned to LA in 2020, and have been working and studying fashion ever since. My favorite activities to do with children are reading, drawing, arts and crafts, playing pretend, building, and more! As someone who has the lived experience of being neurodivergent and having chronic health issues, I’m more than comfortable with and happy to work with children experiencing the same things! I can also take care of light cleaning, organizing and meal prep, among other things. I’m COVID-conscious (fully vaccinated), and child/infant CPR and first aid certified. My biggest priorities in my approach to childcare are being positive, loving, silly, and engaging, while maintaining routine. I’m a huge team player and believe in continuity between your parenting and my care. I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

Lauren is super reliable, friendly and great with kids. She helped our little one feel really at ease even though she was a new person for him, and was great at keeping us updated so we could relax too. She's helpful around the house and overall a lovely person, definitely reccommend!

Angie 1 review
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hi I’m Angely, and I’ve been a babysitter for 8 years. I’m passionate, creative, and committed to making meaningful connections with children. I love music, I sing and play the piano, I believe I have unique things to offer each child I care for. As a native Spanish speaker, I bring an additional cultural and language experience to share, and I enjoy teaching piano and encouraging creativity in every child.

Angie was wonderful with my son. She's engaging, genuinely sweet with him, and I trusted her right away. She even cleaned up before she left, which I didn't ask her to do. She's now on my short list of people I call first when I need a sitter.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
