Growing up in a family daycare, I was surrounded by the joy and energy of little ones, which inspired me to dedicate my life to early childhood education. With over 15 years of hands-on experience working in our family daycare, I’ve nurtured children of all ages, creating a loving and safe environment where they can learn and grow. I earned my Teacher’s Associate Certificate from UCLA to further my knowledge and skills, and I am currently an infant teacher at a preschool. I truly believe that every child deserves patience, warmth, and encouragement to thrive. I’m the oldest of seven, so caregiving has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a single-parent home, I naturally stepped in to help my mom with everything from homework and bedtime routines to meals and keeping the house running. Those early years taught me how to be patient, responsible, and calm under pressure, and they’re a huge reason why I’m so comfortable working with kids today. Outside of my own family, I’ve spent time caring for children in my community and during college. I worked at youth camps and served as a counselor, leading activities, helping kids build friendships, and supporting them through the ups and downs of being young. I also worked with the Boys and Girls Club, mentoring kids both academically and socially. Those experiences helped me develop my own style of caregiving — warm, creative, and centered around helping each child feel seen and capable. I recently graduated from college, and my education helped strengthen my communication and leadership skills. I love finding ways to connect with kids individually, whether that’s through reading together, exploring their interests, or creating simple learning moments in everyday tasks. As a caregiver, I’m dependable, gentle, and adaptable. I don’t come in just to supervise; I like to really learn each child’s personality, what comforts them, what excites them, and how to support their growth. I’m also great with busy households and don’t mind pitching in with things like meal prep, light cleaning, organizing, homework help, errands, or pet care. I’ve been doing those things my whole life. I have over 7 years of experience caring for children from infancy through age 15, and I’ve had the privilege of nannying for multiple families with diverse needs and personalities. I’m open to both live-in and full-time roles depending on the family’s needs. More than anything, I care about building trust, creating a calm and happy environment, and making life a little easier for the families I work with.

Hello I am a single mom of two children ages 11and 13. My name is Beatriz C. I was born and raised in Los Angeles. Family is very important to me. I went to college for my AA in child development and child psychology. Had a lot of babysitting jobs through the years since I was 13 years of age. Helped in multiple schools for community service. I am a person that is very fond of children. Do all types of activities with them from yoga to dance, painting, playing fun games outdoors and indoors. I am also a licensed cosmetologist so no problem doing their hair.
