As an Early Childhood Education Associate Degree Graduate, current Bachelor of Psychology Major, former Home Based Preschool Owner, Director and Teacher, working in the field in various programs in the Santa Clara County for over 15 years, I am well versed in working with children and families with varied needs. Upon reflecting on ways that I have actively networked to increase accessibility and capacity while attending school full-time, I was inspired to sign up. Much can be achieved through careful, collaborative, culturally proficient and early innovative measures. Individuals that possess unique qualities such as compassion, flexibility as well as attention to the immediate needs of children and families, is what I have sought in caregiving. There are many reasons that I qualify as an Urbansitter caregiver beyond what can be included in this introduction however the two assets that are most important to me are passion and purpose.
