Hi! My name is Grace! I am a behavioral therapist. Working with children is my passion. My passion developed when I ironically was a child myself. It all started on November 12, 1998, the day I finally became a big sister. I was always the youngest of my four sisters and one brother. When I became a big sister, I loved it. I always wanted to help, play with, provide for, and keep my younger brother and younger sister safe. That became something that stuck with me and blossomed beyond my big sister duties. My love for working with children got deeper and more loving. I started babysitting for family and then neighbors. I worked for an after school program and eventually became a preschool teacher. My current job doesn't even feel like work. That's how much I love working with children. Also, I have a car and I'm more than willing to drive kids around! Not a problem at all!

I am an experienced nanny, baby sitter and caregiver, having worked in the industry intensely for about fifteen years. I have been sitting children, however, since I a teenager. I am a fun-loving sitter who really puts her heart into her work. I've had many clients for the fifteen year period, and we have become like family to one another. I have a grown daughter whom I've raised to a successful adulthood. I have excellent references, a clean driving record and can easily pass a background check. I have my own vehicle and car insurance and can drive clients to various appointments, pick up from school, or take on outings. I was a Girl Scout for nine years. I was a lifeguard in high school, certified Red Cross. I have saved a few lives, a drowning victim - a 6-year old boy when I was a teenager; and, most recently, a grandmother who was choking to death at a valley restaurant. I have taken art for ten years, and love doing arts and crafts. I consider myself to be an excellent cook. I sing in church choir. I am great with pets, too. I am a freelance book editor in my spare time, and use the sitting money to supplement my income. I have been a book editor for about twenty years, mainly working on education materials and text books. I have a college degree.

I have helped raise my nieces and nephews since day one, as well as other families in my professional experience. I am comfortable caring for and watching newborns/infants, toddlers, and children of all ages. I have cared for children on the spectrum and with other learning difficulties. I have also worked alongside professional behavioral specialist in the home. I am young at heart so I am always happy to play with your children, at what ever stage they are in their lives. Though, I do understand meal time and nap time require a focused nature to get through, which I can lead. I am happy to assist in light clean up and meals for the children.
