Hello, my name is Florence and I am a native Angelino! My background in education is in Nutritional Science and Music - specifically in vocal performance, and vocal technique. When I am not aiding families in child care, I work as a vocal instructor as well as a beginner’s piano and theory instructor. I also work in music composition, music production and songwriting, and provide in studio support for various musical projects. When I’m not working, I love spending time w/ my loved ones, and my pup and favorite walking buddy, Shuggie. She is a three yr old Staffordshire Terrier whom my husband and I rescued in March ‘21. My experience with children ranges from new born and beyond. Being an aunt 9 times now has given me plenty of experience starting from when I was just 14 years old. I also have young students whom I privately teach voice and piano to, and previous experience working as a Dean’s Assistant at Robert Frost Middle School in Granada Hills, Ca. Childcare and animal care is something which I find very rewarding on a personal level, but also on a community level. I have 2 dogs and a cat in Mexico and sometimes I rescued dogs, and I was care some friends and family dogs. EXPERIENCE I have been teacher in México for more than 12 years, I'm math teacher and I have lot experience with teenagers; but also I have experience with elementary school kids, the last year I was in an Spanish immersion program, in Lanterns Global with kids between 3 to 12 years in Thousand Oks. I was working in private school in Guadalajara, Mexico in some school like Colegio Alemán de Guadalajara, Colegio Inglés Hidalgo, Subiré and others.
