My area of focus is child development in psychology so I understand the needs of each child at any age. Experience includes: - professionally babysitting for 3+ years - worked with kids 1:1 in schools on the spectrum/ with varying behavioral issues - worked at a group home with adolescents with varying behavioral issues - coach for kids age 6-18 for cross country, soccer, track, and rock climbing I’d be glad to help with any of their homework, read to the kids, help with their literacy skills, etc. I can also help with basic math homework. My goal as a psychology graduate and also as a person is to let the kids understand that they are a human as well and should be treated with the same respect and kindness that adults treat each other with. Often times people treat kids as if they’re less autonomous beings because of their age and I think it’s important to let them know their ideas, opinions and thoughts are just as important and valuable as ours.
