Hello there, Audrey here! I’m a 25 year old student looking for a part time nanny position. I have been a long term nanny for 2 families, and a short term nanny for 2 families, as well as lots of experience in babysitting and overseas volunteering in orphanages, schools, and after school programs too. I’ve always loved babies and children, especially since I was 13 when my little brother was born. I was like a second mother too him and it is such an honor and privilege to this day to be his sister and have a close relationship with him. A little about me is I moved to Santa Rosa August of 2024 after living overseas for almost a year. I’m originally from Washington state. I moved here to be closer to the love of my life, and have settled in quite well. I recently resigned from my case manager job, and have decided to get back into the world of being a nanny—which is something that always brings me so much joy and fulfillment. For infants I prepared bottles, burped babies, changed diapers, and managed nap time routines for infants ages 2 months to 1 year. And for toddlers I assisted with potty training, mediated sharing disputes, and helped young children with dressing and grooming. For household management and safety I cooked simple, balanced dinners while avoiding cross contamination for children with food allergies. Handled basic in home first aid and ensure the house remained child proof. Led children through arts and crafts, built Lego castles, made blanket forts, baked, build puzzles and played educational games etc. I also work as a paraprofessional working with children has always been my passion and just being able to have the opportunity to do so is really a blessing and I really enjoy doing it’s been 1 year so far with me being a paraprofessional and I hope I get the opportunity to connect with a family I’m really looking forward to supporting on whatever they need and being there for the children or child.
