I hold an associate's in Elementary Education, as well as a bachelor's in Anthropology (which I intend to use to become a children's librarian). I have worked in early childcare for about two years altogether, though that isn't counting the babysitting I don't put on my resume from when I was a teen to young adult. This goes not only for academic material, but also boundaries, day-to-day necessities, and other safety and health material. My favorite thing about working with kids is when I know I've made a positive impact on them, their development, and their family. I believe that kids are so incredibly smart, and getting along well with just them isn't enough. I know that working with parents and guardians is a crucial step to ensuring quality care. When it comes to pets, I have two cats of my own and have lived with dogs throughout my life. One of my cats is special needs, so I have some experience in learning to understand pets that might not act "normal" to how they normally do. I am a quick learner and do very well with instructions, though I might ask some clarifying questions to ensure everyone's comfort and satisfaction. I have a weird quirk: I love cleaning. I actually like when something gets dirty and I have to work to clean it or figure out a new way to get difficult grime off. I think it's my science-mindedness that keeps me researching the best ways to clean! Fun fact: I am a huge board game nerd! I own over 60 different board games, and I love playing them and discovering new ones! If your family is full of board game enthusiasts, I think we'll get along well :)

I am BLS, AED, and CPR trained. I have been working with kids professionally since I was 14 but I have babysat my brother before that. I love working with children seeing how creative they are and how much energy and laughter they have makes me love babysitting. I eventually want to go back to school to major in pediatric nursing. Hi! I’m Hannah I’ve been working with kids for over 6 years, and caring for little ones has truly become one of my favorite things in life.
