Jade $21 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I'm Jade! I have a lot to say about my experience, as well as a fun fact about me at the end, so please read through this bio! I hold an associate's in Elementary Education, as well as a bachelor's in Anthropology (which I intend to use to become a children's librarian). I have worked in early childcare for about two years altogether, though that isn't counting the babysitting I don't put on my resume from when I was a teen to young adult. I have also tutored throughout college, helping kids grades 2nd-10th with all subjects. I love working with children; it brings me so much joy to bring them joy! I am a bubbly person who enjoys making games to play with all sorts of age groups. I have been told by colleagues that I show great patience with the kids in my care and work well with each child's abilities and interests when teaching new concepts so that those concepts stick. I pride myself in my ability to find a way to explain something in a way that each kid will understand. This goes not only for academic material, but also boundaries, day-to-day necessities, and other safety and health material. My favorite thing about working with kids is when I know I've made a positive impact on them, their development, and their family. I believe that kids are so incredibly smart, and getting along well with just them isn't enough. I know that working with parents and guardians is a crucial step to ensuring quality care. When it comes to pets, I have two cats of my own and have lived with dogs throughout my life. One of my cats is special needs, so I have some experience in learning to understand pets that might not act "normal" to how they normally do. I am a quick learner and do very well with instructions, though I might ask some clarifying questions to ensure everyone's comfort and satisfaction. I have a weird quirk: I love cleaning. I actually like when something gets dirty and I have to work to clean it or figure out a new way to get difficult grime off. I think it's my science-mindedness that keeps me researching the best ways to clean! Fun fact: I am a huge board game nerd! I own over 60 different board games, and I love playing them and discovering new ones! If your family is full of board game enthusiasts, I think we'll get along well :)

Isabella $23 per hour for 1 child

I am BLS, AED, and CPR trained. I have been working with kids professionally since I was 14 but I have babysat my brother before that. I love working with children seeing how creative they are and how much energy and laughter they have makes me love babysitting. I eventually want to go back to school to major in pediatric nursing. I can be flexible as long as you communicate with me.

Hannah $20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Idaho Springs, CO

Hi! I’m Hannah I’ve been working with kids for over 6 years, and caring for little ones has truly become one of my favorite things in life. I actually started out as a lifeguard and swim instructor, teaching kids of all ages to feel safe and confident in the water. I hold my First Aid, AED, and CPR certifications, and later became a swim coach for USA Club Swimming—so I’m no stranger to high energy and big personalities! In 2021, I began my journey as a nanny, starting with a sweet 4-month-old boy. After moving, I spent the next 2 years with a wonderful family, caring for their 1½-year-old daughter and later her newborn brother. Most recently, I’ve been working in a nanny share with two adorable boys (20 months and 7 months). I absolutely love watching children grow, hit their milestones, and discover the world around them—it’s such a joy to be part of those little “firsts.” I’m also a master’s student studying adolescent psychology, working my way through school. I’m currently looking to pick up occasional date-night babysitting to supplement my income. Whether it’s building blanket forts, reading stories, singing songs, or making sure bedtime routines go smoothly, I always aim to make sure your kids feel safe, cared for, and happy while you’re away. If you’re looking for someone dependable, experienced, and genuinely passionate about working with kids, I’d love to meet your family!

Gwendalyn $26 per hour for 1 child

Hi! I’m Gwen Calvo! I’m 24 years old and recently graduated from CU Boulder this past May. I’m currently seeking a part- or full-time babysitting or nanny position while I study for the LSAT in preparation for law school. I’ve been babysitting and nannying since I was 15 and worked as a full-time nanny for four boys from 2[removed], gaining strong experience managing multiple children, routines, and busy schedules. As the oldest of two siblings, caring for younger kids has always come naturally to me. In high school, I helped run Special Olympics and participated in student council, which gave me experience working with children with special needs and strengthened my patience and adaptability. I’m happy to help with household chores, running errands, school pick-ups/drop-offs, and cooking. I’m reliable, responsible, and always prioritize a safe, supportive, and fun environment for kids. I do have allergies to cats and dogs, but I’ve grown up with pets and have house-sat before—an allergy pill usually does the trick!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
