Since 2022 I have studied, tutored and taken care of children from the ages of 4-13. Although that hasn’t been a very long time, I believe my strong worth ethic, patience, reliability and personality have helped me gain parent and children’s trust. I am also CPR and BLS certified by the American Heart Association. I have my own car and valid drivers license, so I’m happy to drive kids to and from school or to any extracurricular or fun activities. I can also do household chores, cooking/ meal prepping and running errands. My family has owned many dogs throughout my life (including some reactive and food aggressive dogs), so having to watch or take care of dogs isn’t an issue for me. However, I am allergic to cats!

My biggest qualification for nannying would be that I grew up as the oldest of 9 homeschooled kids. Taking care of them, helping with schooling, life lessons, cleaning, cooking and just being there for them when they need has been my life and had shaped me into who I am. People often assume that taking care of so many siblings has made me dislike kids but really it’s done the opposite, I love who I am when I’m teaching them, caring for them, and listening to all the exciting things they have to talk about. I believe it makes me the best version of myself and I’m always drawn to children and they to me in many places in my life.

I have 2 years of nannying experience. I have cared for kids ages 5 months to 9 years old. My responsibilities nannying have included transportation, cleaning, cooking, and helping with homework. With nannying I have found a love for encouraging playing, learning, and exploring curiosity. My primary experience working with kids comes from coaching gymnastics. I have coached gymnastics for over 6 years and I have coached gymnasts from ages 2 to 18. Through coaching I have gained experience with dealing with injuries, discipline, and comforting kids. In addition, volunteered at a program for at risk youth for over 3 years. This has given me a lot of experience with working with teens, substance abuse, and de-escalation. I also have experience with working with special needs kids. I have spent time babysitting kids with Down’s syndrome and Williams syndrome. In addition, I have grown up with dogs so I have a lot of experience with walking them, feeding them and picking up after them. I have also lived with various animals so I am well versed in taking care of them as well. As far as personality traits, I would consider myself to be a hard worker who is passionate about helping others. I love working with kids and Helping them have fun and grow as human beings.

Growing up in a large family, I began helping care for babies and young children at age 11, which led to several years of babysitting and nannying experience. I’ve primarily worked with children ages 0–8, though I’m comfortable with older kids as well, and I’ve handled responsibilities such as meal preparation, cooking and baking, household chores, homework help (excluding math), and creating engaging, educational, and creative activities like arts and crafts, baking, and even dance parties.
