I've always been someone who enjoys helping others, so becoming a caregiver felt like a natural fit for me. Hi! My name is Samara, and caring for children has always been my passion. I’m the oldest of two siblings and also have two adopted older siblings, along with four wonderful nieces and nephews (one niece and three nephews), so I’ve been around children my whole life. Ever since I was little, I knew I wanted to work with kids, helping them learn, grow, and become kind, respectful young men and women. I have experience working at Nichols Elementary School in Stratford, as well as at two daycare centers, caring for children of different ages and supporting their development through learning and play. I am currently in the process of opening my own daycare because working with children is truly what I love. I am CPR certified and EpiPen certified, and I always prioritize the safety and well-being of the children in my care. Growing up religious, church provided endless opportunities in childcare and service for the elderly, which I took advantage of since I very much enjoy working with people of all ages! When I was not busy with dance as a pre-professionally trained dancer, I would dedicate my time to tutoring elementary students, babysitting infants, toddlers, and/or kids in their early adolescent years.
