Tania 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Washington Navy Yard, DC

Hello! My name is Tania. I have 5+ years of experience caring for children of all ages! Families describe me as reliable, calm, and great with routines. I have worked through care.com & at Loving Care daycare for 3 years as a lead teacher. I’m a creative soul who loves planning arts, crafts, and fun games to keep kids engaged and happy. I'm fully CPR/First Aid certified, ServSafe trained for safe meals, and have a professional background in dentistry, real estate, and social work. So your little ones (and pets!) are in incredibly safe & clean hands. Let's connect!

Tania was absolutely wonderful and took amazing care of my cats while I was away for over two weeks. She visited twice a day without fail, spent time playing with them, cleaned their litter box, and reliably administered medication to one of my cats. She also sent pictures after every visit, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away and let me see how the cats were doing. She was incredibly responsible, attentive, and communicative, and she had no trouble navigating my apartment building or getting in and out for each visit. She also kept everything clean and tidy, which I really appreciated. Most importantly, I could tell that she genuinely cared about my cats and went beyond simply stopping by to take care of the essentials. I came home to happy, well-cared-for cats and a clean apartment. I would absolutely recommend Tania to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and caring cat sitter. I would definitely book her again!

Hi there! I’m a warm, reliable caregiver with years of experience supporting children, seniors, and pets. I’ve worked as a daycare assistant, after-school instructor, and family sitter, always bringing patience, creativity, and structure to every day. I’m trained in early childhood development, homework help, and safe play. I also grew up with four Labradors and helped my brother with dog breeding, so I’m confident around pets too. Whether it’s preparing meals, engaging little ones in learning, or simply providing a calm, kind presence, I’m here to support your household with care you can trust.

Jennifer was punctual and professional! Our baby was asleep so we did not need her to do any child care, but she was great with our dog.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
