Hi! My name is Princess Ann, and I’m a passionate, reliable, and experienced childcare provider who truly loves helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment. For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all ages. During my time at The Little Gym on Capitol Hill, I enjoyed helping toddlers build confidence, strengthen their gross motor skills, and discover the joy of learning through movement and play. My experience has allowed me to develop a strong foundation in early childhood education, including social-emotional development, language and literacy, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive development, and hands-on learning through creative and outdoor activities. I strive to create a positive, engaging environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Whether we’re reading stories, completing fun educational activities, spending time outdoors, or following daily routines, I believe every moment is an opportunity to learn and grow. Building trusting, lasting relationships with families is something I value deeply. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care while giving parents peace of mind and helping every child reach their full potential. I would love the opportunity to get to know your family and become a positive part of your child’s journey. I look forward to connecting with you soon!

Princes’Ann is a great sitter! She provided care four our 4 year old for two days while we had to work. She was awesome, a great communicator, and our 4 year old now wants her to babysit all the time!

Lilla $23 per hour for 1 child

I am in my final year of teacher training, and as I look back on my journey so far, I realize how much working with kids has shaped who I am. Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in both elementary and high school, and it has been amazing to watch students grow, learn, and gain confidence in themselves. For eight years, I have also babysat for several families, caring for children ages 2 to 12, which taught me how important it is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. My involvement in scouting has been another huge part of my life—over the past ten years, I’ve worked with kids from 6 to 18, guiding them through challenges, adventures, and leadership opportunities. I even spent time in Colorado working at the YMCA, leading outdoor lessons for kids ages 8 to 16, which combined two things I love most: teaching and being outside. Across all of these experiences, one thing has become clear—I am most fulfilled when I’m working with kids. Being outdoors, learning alongside them, and helping them discover their strengths makes me feel like I am truly following my passion in life.

Ciana $17 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Ciana I'm a 25 years old and I've been working with kids on and off since I was about 10. My most recent professional experience was working at the YMCA for over a year. I wore numerous of 'hats' such as playground partner (glorified PE teacher), basketball coach, Transitional Kindergarten TA /support staff, and camp counselor. As for 'unprofessional' experience I occasionally watch my little cousins 6 years old and 14 months, feeding, entertaining and teaching them new and old things. I've been trusted to take care of my sister's two cats and my dads dog when they're out of town. I take caring for kids seriously as presence, community and communication are essentially in a child's development. My conviction is children are our reflections any child I'm around keeps me honest and the situation given to them honest. The opportunity to be a part of a child's development is something I don't take lightly, because who they are and who they're becoming isn't accidental. The greatest things I've gotten from working with children is the demand to be myself, love carelessly and eliminate my life long fear of spiders. Working with kids, has given me direct feedback on how to create and sustain safe spaces for children. I love being physically active doing things like going on walks, checking out museums, local parks, amusement parks, road trips, working out and I'm currently looking to take on new recreational sports/ hobbies like soccer, bowling, coding, and public speaking. I love a wide range of music, film and photography. If you consider me as someone to take care of your child, thank you. :)

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
