Hello! I’m Dasha, I just recently graduated from the Air Force Academy and have moved to D.C for my job. I am offering childcare, senior care, and household care services. For my experience, in college I worked at Philmont as a scout ranger for kids in middle school and high school and taught them to backpack in the back country of New Mexico. I also nannied all through out high school for 2 boys who were 4 and 6 years old. My job included tutoring, crafts, driving to and from school, and cooking. I also babysat different families in my neighborhood. I also am a basketball coach for a 8-10 year old girls team which I have done for 2 seasons now. I love it since I played basketball in college and every opportunity to give back and teach what I’ve learned I’m all over it! I also don’t mind working with families with cats or dogs. Additionally can do household errands and can cook, clean, and run errands.

Dasha was amazing! She was very communicative and took great care of my dog Aspen! Highly recommend!!

Hi, my name’s Lily! I’m a 34 year old DC native. I’ve grown up with cats and dogs my whole life, and currently have two cats of my own. I love getting to spend time with friends pets, and will love to get to know your pets too!

Lillian was a great sitter for my cat! She came over daily, sat with him, took photos, and cleaned up any accidents that occurred. I would hire her again.

Hi, I’m Tatia! I recently graduated from college and am back home in DC. I have 8 years of professional experience working with children in a variety of capacities, including as a teacher’s aide in school settings, babysitting and caretaking in the home, and serving as an educator and social worker for children through organizational work. Aside from my professional experience, I’m also an older sister to two lovely younger siblings who I’ve cared for over the years, and that’s truly where my passion for working with children began. Through these experiences, I’ve worked with children ages 1–15. I’m very patient, adaptable, and always looking for fun and engaging ways to interact with children. My teaching experience has prepared me to respond thoughtfully to conflicts, support children’s individual needs, and always prioritize safety and care. My culinary experience and passion for cooking also mean I’m more than happy to prepare meals and snacks that are both nutritious and enjoyable for children. As a DC resident, I’m very familiar with the area and love the idea of extending care beyond the home by exploring the many family-friendly events, activities, and sights around the city. I’m very flexible, dependable, and open to any questions. I hope to work with your family soon :)

Hello! I've successfully raised two sons who are now self-sufficient young adults. I adore children of all ages. I conduct legal background checks on caregivers, tutors, coaches, and anyone else with whom your child interacts. I am also adept at (and enjoy!) organizing homes and offices, And I teach teens to drive. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, and a graduate certificate from Cornell University in the Psychology of Leadership. I have a spotless driving record; no criminal history; and I am fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid. For the past twenty years, I've been fortunate to own and run a firm that places a premium on ethics, discretion, tact, and confidentiality. I'm embarking on a career pivot that will include graduate work in child and adolescent psychology. I relied on my nanny when I was working full-time, and I trusted her implicitly. I hope to earn your trust and give you hard-working parents the break you deserve!

Cristina is an exceptional organizing expert who transformed a daunting move-in situation into a manageable task in just one afternoon. With her professionalism, punctuality, clear communication, cheerful demeanor, and creative problem-solving skills, she tackled every space challenge with ease, finding smart solutions that I hadn’t considered. Her efficiency and positive energy made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. Cristina’s expertise and attention to detail turned a potentially overwhelming day into a smooth, organized experience. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to bring order to their space with a professional who truly cares about making your life easier and your home more functional.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
