Lauren is a passionate educator and an award-winning teacher with a love for bettering our future leaders. Noticing the need to fill the gap for supplemental education services, she naturally gravitated to tutoring and now has several students that she mentors. Seeing this as a movement that goes beyond herself, she started BK Tutoring Sessions to help even more educators connect with students in need. Lauren has over 16 years of experience as an educator which includes work with KIPP Public Charter Schools, Teach for America, Virginia Beach Public Schools, and District of Columbia Public Schools. She has a Bachelors Degree in Sociology with a focus on race, class, and gender from Hampton University, a Masters Degree in Education from Regent University, and an Educational Leadership certification from Longwood University.

Hi! My name is Julia and I am 26 and live in Georgetown! I currently work remote in consulting in DC and I am looking for babysitting gigs on the weekends and after work starting around 6pm on weekdays. I am originally from Maryland and I have been consistently babysitting/nannying for a family with three children since I was about 13 years old. In Richmond when I attended the University of Richmond, I babysat a family with two young boys throughout the school year, I took them to school each morning and picked them up every afternoon. In Maryland, I also use a similar app called Napp where I have helped a number of families with childcare.
