Hi! My name is Naomi and I’m a recent graduate from George Mason University. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminology with a minor in Forensic Psychology and plan to be a detective in the near future! I have a good amount of experience with toddlers and young infants, my longest babysitting job being two years! Since a young age, I’ve always loved taking care of my younger siblings and enjoy making children happy as a whole! I’m offering babysitting for infants, toddlers, and above, alongside completing errands you need! I’m incredibly flexible and willing to learn specific needs for your family.

Gessyca 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child

My name is Gessyca and I'm 31 years old. I started out as teacher assistant and then switched to ESL teacher but fell into childcare a few years ago and love it so much! My favorite age groups are infants, toddlers and first graders, but I have experience with most ages. I'm looking for a full time position, preferably a long term option. I'm CPR certified, and I have years of experience driving. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, pretend play, dancing, encouraging independent time, and outdoor activities. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I enjoy going for a walk and exploring new spots in town or playing board games with my friends. I love to sing and travel too! I look forward to hearing from you.

Gessyca is truly the only person I trust my daughter besides her father. She always goes above and beyond to make my toddler laugh, play, eat and rest. She is very professional and reliable, her school experience makes everything flow seamlessly. There’s something soothing about her that makes my very strong willed toddler calm down and participate in the activities without a big power struggle. My favorite thing about Gessyca is that she’s down for WHATEVER: dance party? She will press play. Arts and crafts? Yes, ma’am. Nap time? The baby relaxing playlist is on. Storytime? In 2 different languages. The first time she worked with us was when my baby was 8 months old and now that she is 2, i cannot tell her when Gessyca is coming beforehand because her excitement level is hard to contain. You’re really missing out if don’t hire here.

Sami $23 per hour for 1 child

Hi parents! I’m currently looking for a babysitting job in the Arlington area, ideally around 30 hours a week. I’ll be starting my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at GW this fall, with a special focus on children’s mental health—so working with kids is truly a passion of mine! I have several years of experience working with children at the elementary level, including time spent as a teacher’s assistant and after-school volunteer. I’ve also taught dance classes to kids ages 3–10, and I’m more than happy to provide references. If you or someone you know is looking for a kind, responsible, and experienced babysitter, please feel free to reach out or pass my name along! Thanks so much! Would you like a version tailored for a local Facebook group or Nextdoor as well?

Hi families! I’m Sarah, a Drexel grad in Child & Family Psychology with experience as a behavior technician, nanny, and au pair. "We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
