Hey, I'm Beatriz and I'm 24 years old and I've been working with kids since 2017. I am looking for a Full Time position starting March 9th. About my experiences with children: Currently I take care of 2 kids ages 19 months and 3.5 years old. Last year I had experience taking care of 15-month-old twins for 4 months and then older children aged 6 and 10. My experiences are with infants and toddlers, helping them with everything they need, including fun time, Preparing meals, encouraging their development, and, of course, keeping them safe. I have a lot of experiences which included bottle feeding, pick up, drop offs, supervised and provided transportation to extra activities, fun arts and crafts, tons of trips to the park, library, zoo and etc, organized play dates, laundry, etc. I kept up with the schedule and maintained communication with the family and children. I have Portuguese as my native language. I'm taking COVID precautions and fully vaccinated (including booster).

Hi! I am Christina, and I am currently a student at George Washington University. I offer child care, pet care and household services. I absolutely love children and have been a babysitter/nanny since I was 15, working with multiple families including a special needs infant. I am Red Cross Certified for child care as well as CPR. I have plenty of experience handling incidents as I’ve been a lifeguard for 5 years where I take on leading roles. I love pets and am very comfortable around them and I do not smoke.

I’m Mexican-American, very fond of both kids and pets. I grew up around a huge family. Being the eldest daughter, I took care of both my baby sisters and baby cousins. I love taking care of people. I was my mom’s primary caregiver when she had to have a life saving surgery in 2022. I believe I’m very empathetic, compassionate, and that I get along with both kids and pets very well. I’m a Junior Psychology and Criminology double major at Howard University in Washington, DC. I was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. I have worked as a AVID Tutor in HS, Columbia Heights Education Campus Mentor in DC, and Church Camp Counselor in Durham, NC. In my youth, I was a Cheerleader (varsity), Girl Scout (up to Brownie), and I sang in my church choir. I’m compassionate and inquisitive. I love baking, 1,000 piece puzzles, legos, arts and crafts, and reading. I am also learning 3 languages on Doulingo Plus (French, Spanish, and Haitian Cerole). And, of course children! Also, I have my drivers license and I turn 21 years old in late October!

I am a warm, well-educated, energetic woman who turned to child care after I lost a professional job during the recession. Yes! I'm old! But I prefer to say that I am experienced, and I can provide local references who will attest to my reliability, intelligence, and general competence. I am quite outgoing and I think my carbonated sense of humor and creativity allow me to establish a rapport with children of all ages. I have experience with infants, toddlers, and teenagers. I love babies in particular, and enjoy shepherding kids through the early years. I was for many years a children's book designer and illustrator at Random House in NY, and worked as a live-in house parent at a group home for middle schoolers in NY. I consider being a nanny a profession. In addition to child care I am a good cook. I worked for a time at Center for Science in the Public Interest---the Food Nazis!--so I know how to prepare wholesome and nourishing food for children. I have frequently cooked dinner for parents, and enjoy leaving a clean kitchen with dinner in the fridge for parents.
