Leslye is WONDERFUL! Her communication before, while, and after watching my 11-month daughter was great. She is also incredibly caring and responsible, and my daughter was immediately comfortable with her. Leslye made sure they had a fun day - including taking our daughter to the park and the waterfront to see the ducks and birds. I'm really excited to have Leslye come back and any other family would be lucky to have her watch their children as well!

Hi! I’m Kennedy! I am current college student and a responsible and energetic caregiver with years of experience working with kids. I’ve worked at summer camps with children ages 6–13 and also served as a facilitator for another camp with kids 6–10. Through these roles, I’ve learned how to create fun, safe, and engaging environments where kids can learn, grow, and be themselves. I love planning creative activities, outdoor games, and arts and crafts while also being patient and reliable when it comes to routines, homework help, and everyday care. I always aim to make kids feel comfortable and supported while keeping things structured and fun. I have my own car, so I’m able to help with school pickups, activities, or errands. I’m also happy to help with light household tasks if needed. Families can count on me to be punctual, communicative, and dependable. I truly enjoy spending time with kids and watching them grow. I’d love the opportunity to bring my energy, experience, and positive attitude to a great family!

Hi! I'm Kathryn - kids call me KP. Friends have also referred to me as Aunt Kathryn, Baby Whisperer and Better Mommy. (That last one comes from a pretty specific sense of humor!). My very first job was babysitting when I was 11. I worked my way through high school and college as a nanny, babysitter and camp counselor. An unexpected lay-off means I have some downtime while I find a new f/t job and I find kid care to be one of the best things for me in times like these. Living and working solo means that a focus on taking care of people can be really restorative. And that solo time makes it easier for me to be fully present and engaged and infinitely patient when I am with kids. I love newborns - I earned the "baby whisperer" nickname because babies stop crying when I hold them. Many friends have asked me to be their new baby's first babysitter. I have spent more than a few hours in the NICU with friends' new babies and I can handle very young and special needs babies. I also love older kids - I do arts & crafts, baking and cooking, dance parties, field trips, nature & outside time, etc. Two of my favorite secret tricks are pipe cleaners and the Ministry of Silly Walks. Nutrition and health are serious hobbies for me - I am a great home cook and a registered yoga teacher. Cleaning isn't my favorite but I like to take care of people, and I love seeing the relief on people's faces when I finish some laundry or dishes or other cleaning task they're dreading. Mostly, I love meeting humans of all ages wherever they are and engaging on their level. I'm loving, compassionate, non-judgmental and fun. I'm also super no-nonsense and really great at boundaries and expectations. I'd love to meet your family!

KP was great with our kids. She understands their developmental levels and interacts with them appropriately. She’s respectful and left the place clean. Definitely recommend!

Hello! I have spent the past ten years nannying full time for kids ranging from newborn-13 year (specializing in infant and toddler care). Prior to nannying I taught acting classes for preschool aged children for three years. I love to do creative things with the kids I sit for including visual art, dance, and imaginative play. I'm also a big fan of the outdoors. I enjoy it when the children in my care share with me the interests that make them excited!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
