Booked by 1 family in Washington, DC

Hello, I’m Pui. My full name is Duangkamon and I have 18 years of experience being a nanny since 2009 in the States. I have a CPR certificate by the American Heart Association. I live in Silver Spring, MD. I have experience taking care of children from infancy to teenage age. I first started to come to the United States of America as an Aupair. I worked with a family in Maryland. I have a good relationship with them. In 2009 I took care of 3 months old infant and 10 years old girls. Then my contract was overed in January of 2010, but in 2011 the family had a new baby, so the family contacted me back asking me to help her taking care of an infant baby for 2 -3 days a week. I also took care of a newborn infant since 7 week for a summer job back in 2012 toward the end the family asked me to move to Atlanta with them for good, but I was in school so I could not move in. I offered them to help them around in Atlanta for one month since the baby just born in May 2012. Then I started to be an after school babysitter for a 5 years old boy who was about to become 6 years old. I worked with this family until March 2020. He turned 13 this year. I moved to Seattle on August, 2020 and I live in Silver Spring, MD now. I can drive to your house and willing to drive your children in my car or your cars. Recently I graduate LPN program form Anne Arundel Community College on May 2025. I already pass the boarding exam and I am also a licensed LPN. I hope to have a chance to get an interview with you. Thank you.

Hello! My name is Nalani. I'm 18 years old and currently finished with high school. I offer child care services as I have 5 years of experience with babysitting children. I love babysitting and have watched kids toddler age and grade school age since I was 13 years old. I do have the responsibility of taking the public transportation to and from school and the sit. I can cook and provide fun activities for kids such as painting, drawing, music, or the playground if any nearby. I am First Aid and CPR trained. I speak English and ASL. I also have experience with children of special needs and in the autism spectrum as a special needs and autistic woman myself.

Nalani is such an awesome, kind young lady. She was super helpful and inactive with my daughter. My daughter loved and connected with her as soon as she met her. She was super communicative as well. I would recommend families book with her.

$30 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Washington, DC

Hi! My name is Rokhaya. Caring for children has always been a big part of my life, not just as a job, but as family. As the firstborn of five younger siblings, I’ve been actively caring for infants and children since I was 13. Being the oldest taught me responsibility, patience, and how to nurture children with love and consistency. Professionally, I’ve been babysitting since I was 16 and have experience with a wide range of ages (including twins), from five-month-old infants to toddlers, preschoolers, and older children up to 10 years old. I’m comfortable adjusting to each child’s needs, routines, and personality, whether that means bottle-feeding, playtime, helping with homework, or simply creating a calm and safe environment. I’m known for being very warm, gentle, and attentive. I genuinely love children, and that shows in the way I care for them. I enjoy creating positive, joyful spaces through music, outdoor time, and creative activities. I also love nature, which often inspires calm play and meaningful connection with kids. I’m bilingual and speak both English and French fluently, which can be a great asset for families looking to expose their children to another language. Overall, I take pride in being reliable, nurturing, and present, and I treat every child I care for as if they were my own.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
