Praise 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Washington, DC

Hi! My name is Praise, but most people call me Kose, and it’s so nice to meet you! As a college student, I’m responsible, dependable, and passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. I enjoy spending time with kids of all ages, whether that means playing games, helping with routines, encouraging creative activities, or simply being a calm and supportive presence. I pride myself on being patient, attentive, and adaptable to each family’s unique needs and preferences. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident and comfortable with their childcare, and I would love the opportunity to support your family and provide dependable, compassionate care.

Praise was a lifesaver for my family when we needed a last minute sitter for my 13 year old with special needs. She was punctual and very nice. She was also comfortable with our puppy who can be very hyper at times. My daughter still wanted to play when it was time for her to go. I appreciated her trying to learn basic ASL to communicate with my daughter. I would definitely recommend her to any parents and call her back to help us if we ever need it again!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
