Tiffany Fort Lauderdale
$20 per hour for 1 child

Hi !! My name is Tiffany, and I am currently a graduate student pursuing my Masters in Biological Sciences. I have 3 years of experience with children including working as a Teaching Assistant in a high school, and as a summer camp counselor for a variety of age groups (pre-K to 5th grade). My most recent employment was as a Patient Care Associate in a hospital, I have experience with providing First Aid, and a Basic Life Support and CPR certification. I love working with children, nurturing their education and providing a safe environment for them to learn and grow. Working in the hospital gave me the opportunity to learn to work with adults and seniors, providing basic medical care, assisting patients with daily life activities, and learning to work in a dynamic environment where I could address people’s needs.

Hello all! I come from a 13 person household. I am the third eldest of nine children and have always been a family oriented person. I have a passion for children and teaching them in truth and in love. I have been tutoring children for over three years and am currently studying to become a pediatric nurse. I have always been considered a people person and always been a hit with the kids. I am very energetic and also empathetic. I care for all people and put others before myself. Due to my church background, I have always been a part of children's ministry, and babysit my pastors kids many times whether it's for an hour or for a day. While I can be fun, playful, and energetic, I can also be very stern and serious when the time calls for me to be. I am a believer of Christ and it is the bane of all that I do. I attain to uphold Christian values in all that I do. I was raised by Caribbean parents, with that being said, I have been taught to clean at a pretty young age and it is something that still holds strong in my household.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
