I might be young but I've been babysitting most of my life, family and non family, and I'm a sophomore in college. I absolutely love kids it doesn't feel like a hassle to watch them. I like to have personal relationships with all the kids I sit. I'm very light hearted, bubbly, and I've had some pretty hard kids but they've came around. Plus l've babysat all ages.

My name is Elaine and I'm offering child care, pet care, and household services. I graduated from Eckerd College in 2020 with degrees in Environmental Studies and Spanish. I work locally at a preserve in Tampa Bay teaching nature-based camps and outdoor programs for children ages 3-13. I love working with kids and animals and found my passion for environmental education while in college. In addition to camps and babysitting, I have experience as an online learning facilitator where I supervised a group of early elementary students doing online school during the pandemic. My responsibilities included tutoring, creating crafts, interacting with teachers, and helping with mealtimes. When it comes to animals, I am comfortable around and working with furry friends like cats and dogs, as well as exotic animals. I have worked with pets with medical needs and special dietary restrictions. I also am happy to do household assistance including running errands, cleaning, and plant-based cooking. I have reliable transportation and a clean driving record for any needs outside of the household, too!

I am dedicated cognitive skills trainer, teaching reading, writing and cognitive skills to students ranging from kindergarten to adults on a one to one basis. Work with learners at various cognitive skill levels to enhance their academic and language abilities. I am fluent in English and German and have applied these in the teaching sector as well as in sales and customer relations. I hold an associate degree in foreign languages and economics and currently work part time at a private school tutoring children.

Hey! I'm the kind of sitter who can keep up with toddlers, chat with teens, and rock a baby to sleep like a pro. I’ve babysat my neighbor’s 3 kids since they were born, so I am familiar with the ins and outs of babysitting! Did I mention I also just graduated with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy (currently studying for boards — wish me luck!)? I’m CPR certified, great with babies, and I’ve worked with kids and teens in clinics, sports settings, and even with pediatric patients who have disabilities. I love making kids laugh, feel safe, and have fun while keeping things calm and structured for parents too. I'm also good at helping with homework and am open to helping with pets :)
