Kiley $16 per hour for 1 child

For the past three summers, I worked at a daycare, caring for children from 6 months to school-age. I created engaging, age-appropriate activities that encouraged learning, creativity, and social growth. I am a patient, adaptable, and highly organized, person who is great at managing schedules, preparing meals, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. My biggest strengths is me being extremely patient as I’ve worked with a classroom of 14. I’ve always had a deep love for taking care of kids and it comes pretty naturally to me. I know how important it is for kids to feel loved, safe, and supported, and I take pride in creating a space for them to have great memories. With my experience, patience, and dedication, I know I can bring that extra care and energy every family deserves.

Hi - My name is Sheridan! Looking for a dependable and loving babysitter? Look no further! I’m the oldest of 8 siblings, so I’m no stranger to juggling different needs and creating a safe, fun environment for kids of all ages. Over the years, I've developed a nurturing spirit, patience, and a genuine love for caring for children. In addition to my experience at home, I've also volunteered at a children’s hospital, where I further honed my ability to comfort and care for kids in all kinds of situations. Whether it's playtime, helping with homework, or offering a listening ear, I bring a kind heart and a calm, patient presence to every situation. I understand how important it is to make sure kids feel safe, loved, and valued, and I can’t wait to offer that care to your family. I am allergic to cats, but i’m happy to work with families with dogs.

$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Newborn, GA

Hello, I am Amy and i am a mom to three ( two grown children and a 13 year old). I have over 10 years experience in childcare. My specialty is toddlers and babies. I’m looking to work in childcare again due to having lots of free time on my hands now that my youngest child is in middle school. I am available most days 9-3 on short notice. I can work longer days with more notice. I’m available most evenings and weekends. I look forward to meeting you and your little one/ones. Feel free to message me with any questions or concerns. I’m happy to help.

Amy was a nanny for our twin boys, starting from when they were about 5 months old, as I was going back to work. Due to her previous daycare and babysitting experience, she was fantastic with them right off the bat and they were so comfortable with her. She really offers such close care and attention. She also was such a calming, reassuring, supportive and helpful sounding board and shoulder to lean on for me, as a new mother with my own thoughts and decisions. She offered helpful advice and suggestions with her knowledge and experience of babies and kids’ developmental stages though her work and her personal life, without overstepping on our journey and our own preferences as new parents. Our two big dogs also adore her and wanted to sit in her lap and held by her too! She also helped out around the house, making my responsibility load and life so much easier! We were sad and so hesitant to part ways but decided to start the boys in daycare to offer more socialization opportunities. We still call upon Amy for babysitting for date nights and highly highly recommend her for any family and kids of all different ages! And we connected her with our friends who have hired her as their nanny.

Tierra 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child

Hi, I’m Tierra — a nurturing childcare professional and experienced educator with a Master’s in Education and a passion for child‑led learning. I am CPR and first aid certified. My professional experience is rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, where I honor each child’s voice, curiosity, and right to explore the world around them. I currently support a wonderful family on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings. I’m now looking to partner with a family in need of morning care on those days and full day care on Tuesdays and Thursdays. With years of teaching experience from PreK through 5th grade, I bring both gentle care and educational insight to every home I serve. Whether we’re discovering nature together or building confidence through play, I offer a calm, respectful presence — along with optional tutoring sessions for families seeking academic support.

Tierra was one of my son's daycare teachers from when he was five months old until around 14 months old. He absolutely LOVED her, as did all the other children in the class from what I saw. The daycare was right next to my office so I would frequently visit during the day and had the opportunity to see how Tierra interacted with the babies. She was an excellent caretaker, even when the kids were young and not mobile so they required a lot of help. She was also very patient, which is of course necessary when dealing with infants and toddlers but not always easy to do. Better than just being good at caring FOR the babies, she also cared ABOUT them. She had funny nicknames for each child and always knew what to do or say to make them laugh. I would definitely recommend her as a babysitter!!

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
