Hello! My name is Niasia. I am 19 years old and realized my passion to work with kids at just the age of 15 years old. I originally wanted to be a school teacher but as I went to college for it I realized I don’t want to be in a classroom. I want a more personal experience with the kids I care for. In June of 2025 I had the opportunity to care for a little baby 4 days a week for 5 months before they moved across the country. He was premature and was in the NICU for 4 months before coming home. I had to administer medication, creams for healing process after surgeries, and had to help him with building muscle in his left side since he was weaker. It was honestly the best experience I have ever had. He felt like my own, we had a bond I’ve never had before. I watched him grow out of his helmet, seen him crawl for the first time, and heard his first words. My relationship with him and both the parents have impacted my life heavily.
