Hi - My name is Mya, I am 20 years old, and I'm taking a break from college to gain a year of real world experience. I'm offering childcare and pet care. I enjoy working with kids of all ages, helping them to grow, think creatively, problem solve and have fun. I've done this work both for a summer camp and individual families with one or more children. As a dog owner myself, I understand the needs of canines, but I've worked with cats once or twice and am willing to do so again. I'm also able to work with lizards, snakes, fish, hamsters, and guinea pigs as long as I'm given an initial debrief on proper care. (I cannot work with arachnids or bug pets of any kind.) I am able to provide transportation for children and dogs if necessary.

Twins run in my family, so I do have a lot of experience being around them and understanding them on a deeper level.

I have experience with children of all ages and love working with children. I babysat full time for two children during the summer from the time they were 3 and 4 until they were 7 and 8. I also frequently babysat for my next door neighbor while she was 6 and 7 until she moved. I also have experience with infants as I spent 2 summers nannying for an infant with special needs. I am currently pursuing my masters in Anesthesia and graduate in September. I am BLS and PALS certified. I do not smoke, love animals, and have my own car.
