Hi! I’m Funmbi 😊 I recently graduated from Boston University School of Medicine with a Master’s in Medical Sciences, and I’ve always naturally been someone who takes care of others. I’m the oldest of five siblings, so a lot of my experience started at home, helping out, staying organized, and being someone my siblings could rely on. I’ve also worked with kids of all ages through my church’s children’s and youth ministry, so I’m comfortable stepping in whether it’s playtime, helping with homework, or keeping a routine going. I try to meet kids where they are, whether they’re energetic, shy, or just need someone to listen. I have been employed at my job in New York for 25 years before moving to Atlanta. I was a teacher of preschool students ages 2 to 6 years. I have experience teaching children with special needs and also autism. I am very patient and believe that all children have the capability of learning. I provide structure so that children can learn and also have fun. Although I am currently not teaching, I still have a close relationship with my prior parents. I also love music and know from my teaching experience that children learn through music.
