Hi! I’m a graduate student located in Chicago with over 10 years of childcare experience and an educational background in public health and psychology. I have held several nannying positions as well as being a regular date night sitter or anything inbetween. I am comfortable with children of all ages, particularly infants and toddlers, but I enjoy working with older children as well. I have some experience with children with physical and developmental disabilities that can be discussed further. For multiple years in college I was an ACT tutor and test prep tutor and worked with kids 10+ yrs old 1-on-1. I also used a childcare app “Wyndy”, where I babysat for at least 30 different families through out the years and have several pre-made reviews I can show you. I am the oldest of 7 as well so besides having professional experience with children, I really love just working with kids, having fun with them & supporting their development. As a caregiver I would describe myself as warm, open-minded, and encouraging of children’s’ curiosity. I love going outdoors with kids on walks, to museums, etc, but also know how to entertain at home. I pride myself on making sure kids feel as understood and respected as possible and am open to matching parenting styles. I’m comfortable with many different childcare situations and am open to discuss opportunities. I have a vehicle, am up to date on vaccinations, and no pet allergies. Let me know if you have any other questions! **AVAILABILITY: For Spring 2026, I am regularly unavailable on M and W afternoons due to my classes

Hello! My name is Katie, and I’ve been a professional caregiver since 2016. I have extensive experience caring for children from newborns to 13 years old, and I truly love helping kids learn, grow, and have fun in a safe, nurturing environment. I’m comfortable managing groups of all sizes—the largest number of children I’ve supervised alone is six, but I also served as Co-Director of a Child Outreach Program that supported 60–80 kids at a time. These experiences have strengthened my skills in organization, communication, and flexibility while keeping things calm and upbeat. I also have overnight experience through Maryville Crisis Nursery, and am trained in sleep training and crisis response including CPR and First-Aid as well as ServeSafe (food prep). In addition to childcare, I also have experience providing pet care and senior care. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or administering medications for pets, or offering compassionate companionship and daily assistance for seniors, I approach every role with patience, reliability, and respect. Families and clients describe me as dependable, caring, and adaptable. I take pride in creating an environment—whether for children, pets, or older adults—where everyone feels comfortable and cared for. I truly enjoy helping others and would be thrilled to bring that care and energy to your family.

Hi! I'm an experienced caregiver and a mom of three young children. My youngest just started full-day pre-k, so I am looking to add care giving hours. I enjoy playing and laughing with elementary-age kids. I have experience with newborns and infants, and currently care for a 4 month-old part-time. I enjoy creating playful, nurturing environments where kids can grow and express themselves. I'm reliable, compassionate, and available for daytime, evening, and overnight care to help your family feel supported.

Patricia has been amazing to our little girl. She is on time, responds fast, asks plenty of questions to make sure she is following your routines. Plays and reads to our baby. She is a great caregiver. ❤️

18-year-old with a warm, approachable personality and a strong sense of responsibility. As the oldest of 8 siblings , I grew up caring for my younger brothers and sisters from a young age, learning patience, adaptability, and how to nurture children of different ages. Attended military school to earn my GED, where I developed discipline, leadership, and time management skills. CPR certified, with additional certifications in food handling, basic electricity, and safety awareness. Surrounded by successful role models such as nurses, police officers, and teachers—as well as other intelligent and hardworking men and women—I was guided onto the right path in life. Their influence motivates me to be a positive role model for children, helping them grow with the same encouragement and guidance I was given. Currently working on obtaining my business license and preparing to join the military to build a strong and successful future. Known for being respectful, dependable, and trustworthy. Committed to creating a safe, positive, and fun environment. Skilled at keeping kids engaged through age-appropriate activities, helping with homework, and maintaining routines. Reliable, punctual, and attentive to parents’ instructions.

He is a wonderful helper. He was great with my little girl making sure to be gentle and patient with her as she can act out sometimes. Was very accommodating when I needed him to come in for emergency times. Was helpful with her homework, art projects, and sports. I would highly recommend him and will definitely be looking forward to calling him again for help during my events.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
