Hello! My name is Che! I am currently a Special Education Teacher in one of Chicago Public Schools. I am teaching primarily Math in High School (I can show you my CPS ID if needed). Before teaching high school, I was teaching Math for 3 years in Middle School. I also have an experience working with younger kids. I was a preschool teacher for 3 years. I can do tutoring and homework help! I used to take care of my grandma when I was in College until she passed away. I love working with seniors because I feel like they have the most genuine heart! I also have a certification for Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED from American Red Cross. Growing up, we had a pit bull as another member of our family. After she died, we adopted another dog which was a Shitzu, she passed away last year. Now, I am mom of a 1 year old Shitzu. I love cleaning and washing dishes! I don’t know why but I’m also organized at home! I can do cleaning, cooking (especially Asian food), do errands, do laundry and etc…. but I can’t drive. I’m stepping away from teaching to complete my master’s so I’m looking for a side job/full time job similar to my passion as a teacher.

I’m 24 and currently pursuing my master’s in Elementary Education at DePaul. I’ve cared for kids from infants to grade schoolers, including summers babysitting my cousins while their pilot parents traveled. I’ve also worked in after-school programs and animal hospitals, so I’m equally great with pets! I’m CPR certified, active, and love keeping kids engaged through play, learning, and creativity. I’m happy to help with cooking, light cleaning, or homework—anything that keeps your home running smoothly.

Hi! I’m a certified newborn care specialist with a background in child development and over 5 years of experience supporting families with newborns. I will be moving home to DC August 1st and hoping to find a family to work for. I’ve worked in a children’s hospital NICU, am CPR trained, and have additional certifications in sleep training, lactation support, and postpartum care. I’m currently completing my doula certification to better support parents in the early weeks. Caring for newborns is truly my passion, and I’m known for being calm, reliable, and deeply nurturing. I have a high school leaving certificate from Cambridge. My first experience working with chicken and toddlers was 30 years ago at a kindergarten in South Africa Johannesburg. I worked with different ages during my 3 years tenure. It was a great experience, I learned how to deal with different cultures and different behaviors in children. Patience and kindness was the almost constant part of the job working. I learned patience and understanding to assure children that they are heard and understood.
