I've been in radio broadcasting since I was 20 years old. Currently I'm the midday host at 94.7FM (10-3pm) and mother of an amazing 12-year-old son. My passion is to find the commonality in all humans. To add some levity and humor to all of the things we deal with in life. My childcare experience started very early in life. I was babysitting my older sisters 4 kids since I was 15 years old. I've been a room parent in my son's classroom from K-6th grade. I've been heavily involved in my son's travel baseball team for the last 5 years. Caring for other kids on the team. Giving them rides to and from events. Having sleep overs. Always the chaperone for the team to water parks, dinners, games and more. I've also been a dog walker. Owned my own service for a few years. I'm comfortable around any animal and enjoy them as much as I do children. I grew up with a friend whose father was a quadriplegic and helped with his care. I was very close to my grandmother and wanted to make her comfortable in her senior years. Washing her hair, helping her get up the stairs and cooking for her. Now that my son is getting older, and my schedule is flexible, I want to help other families. Not having family or resources in Chicago to help raise my son, I know how extremely valuable it would have been to have had help from a sitter that I could trust. I want to be that comfort for others.

Hello My name is Leslie, and I’m new here, but I’m offering child care, senior care, pet care, & household services! Currently looking for a more intimate/smaller work setting than the one i just left; I was a paraprofessional/teachers aid at a beautiful elementary school in Lyons Illinois. Decided to leave to focus strictly on school. Now that i’m done, i’d love to get back to what I love! I love working with children and I have for as long as I can remember, This love for working with children led me to jobs like being a seasonal recreational leader, a teacher aide in a daycare and elementary school setting, and i’ve had my share of nannying opportunities. I do have experience with children ranging in ages from new born-11 years & i have experience with children on the spectrum, as well.
