Northwest Chicago/Suburbs Bilingual Nanny Available ✨ I am Sky, your new dependable, caring, communicative candidate..here to offer my babysitting/nannying services. I am 20 years old, currently a part time student and homemaker. I have experience with children of all ages, since I was about 12. This ranges from volunteering in a daycare setting with ages 2-5 (prior to working age), tutoring math to elementary students, babysitting for family, current nanny to one family once a week (looking for more!) and being a mom to one sweet toddler. I am a: NON-SMOKER CPR/FIRST AID CERTIFIED BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH/SPANISH FULLY VACCINATED, CLEAN BACKGROUND CHECK. Willing to show proof of anything. I can provide age-appropriate activities, work on developmental milestones, hands-on learning, light housework, meal prep. I do not drive, but I have reliable transportation and am willing to travel within 10 miles of 60[removed]4. I would love to continue to build my career in nannying/childcare and would appreciate the experience, plus creating a bond with your little! Given children are so absorbent in these ages, I love teaching new skills/information or working on what they may already need help with. I believe teaching is best taught through play and made fun. I am available for one time jobs or consistent care. My rate is $20-25/hr. I can care for up to 3-4 total children, an example of what I have experience with handling at once is one infant and the rest were toddler/older age. I look forward to hearing from someone interested. As a parent myself, I know how it feels making sure you leave your precious world in the right hands. And to you I say, hakuna matata. 😉🤗 Thank you and have a blessed day.

Guadalupe 1 review
$20 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Cicero, IL

Hi- My name is Guadalupe but I go by Lupe and I’m currently a student at Roosevelt University. I am looking for part time babysitting and pet sitting jobs. I am a science major so I have weird class hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am available on Thursdays after 3pm. I am available full time on Wednesdays and Fridays. On Mondays I have class from 11:00 am to 1:30pm so I am free after that time. Some of the responsibilities I can do is dropping off kid/s to school and some picking up from school as well as doing activities that will engage children. I don’t have a car so I don’t drive as I am in the south loop area. I love cooking but I cannot cook anything with peanuts or tree nuts as I am allergic. I have been working for the Chicago Park District as a summer seasonal recreational leader for the past 3 summers since I was 17. I’ve worked with children ages 3-5, 6-8 years old as well as 9-13 years old. A few things I have done while working as a recreational leader is organizing activities for the day, going to the library as well as teaching them sports skills like learning how to do basic soccer, basketball and kickball. I live a mostly active lifestyle and I am very outgoing! I love working with children and being a part of their learning and development. I have 3 large dogs and 1 cat so I’ve had experience with animals for about 8 years now.

Amazing help and character. My son loved her!

Angel $20 per hour for 1 child

I have experience caring for children of different ages, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for them. I’ve helped with daily routines such as homework, playtime, organizing activities, and keeping a consistent schedule. I understand how important it is for children to feel comfortable, supported, and engaged. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I always make safety my top priority. I communicate well with both children and parents, making sure everyone feels heard and informed. I enjoy being creative through games, crafts, and outdoor activities, and I’m able to adapt to each child’s unique personality and needs. While I don’t have much experience with cooking yet, I’m very willing to learn and follow any instructions or meal guidelines provided. What makes me a great caregiver is my genuine care for children, my strong sense of responsibility, and my ability to stay calm and positive in any situation. I strive to build trust and create a warm environment where kids can learn, grow, and have fun.

Hi! My name is Sarah Elizabeth, and I am a recent Masters graduate looking for child-care opportunities until I start my full-time accounting job in October. I will be available starting August 10th. I love being a babysitter and have been watching newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids since I was 14 years old. My responsibilities have included driving to/from school, crafts, tutoring, and even dance lessons. However, I will not have a car once I move to the city. I also work as a household assistant and can cook, clean, and run errands.

Ajia $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Ajia, and I’ve spent over three years working directly with children as both a Teacher’s Assistant and an Instructor with After School Matters. Those experiences gave me the chance to work with kids of different ages, personalities, and learning styles — from helping younger students with reading and crafts to guiding older kids through creative projects and team-based activities. As a Teacher’s Assistant, I learned how to create structured, positive, and engaging classroom environments. I helped manage lessons, supported students one-on-one, and assisted with classroom organization and supervision. It taught me how to balance patience with leadership, and how to make sure every child feels included and understood. In my role as an After School Matters Instructor, I took on more responsibility by designing and leading activities that encouraged creativity, teamwork, and self-expression. I developed lesson plans, managed group dynamics, and ensured a safe space for every student to learn and have fun. I loved seeing how kids gained confidence and developed new skills over time. What I enjoy most about working with kids is how rewarding it is to watch them grow — whether it’s mastering a new skill, expressing themselves more freely, or simply feeling comfortable and happy in their environment. I bring that same care and enthusiasm into babysitting. I’m attentive, reliable, and safety-conscious, but I also know how to make things fun and engaging through games, crafts, and conversations. I’m also certified in maintaining safe supervision practices and understand the importance of good communication with both children and parents. I always aim to create a nurturing, trustworthy environment where parents feel confident and kids feel supported. Overall, my background has prepared me to not just “watch” kids, but to connect with them, support their growth, and keep them safe and happy at the same time. Babysitting, for me, isn’t just a job — it’s an opportunity to make a positive impact in a child’s day and help parents feel at ease knowing their kids are in good hands

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
