Hello! My name is Madeline, and I am 24 years old with a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Denver. I am a compassionate, patient, and experienced caregiver. I have a well-rounded background in childcare, household management, and pet care.
I have worked with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I have experience as a part-time nanny, a household manager, an occasional sitter, an overnight sitter, and currently lead nature walk fieldtrips at Rainbow Beach with classes from 4th grade to 8th grade.
While completing my degree, I worked as a nanny and household manager for a family with a set of twins ages 9 for 2 years. In this role, I picked up/dropped off at school, helped with homework, completed the laundry for both children, grocery shopped for the family, and made dinner every night of the week.
Within the last year, I have cared for a newborn child from birth to 15 months of age. I gave the child baths and bottles, and helped with developmental skills like tummy time, crawling, and walking.
On a personal level, I am the oldest of 5 children with a large extended family. I have nannied for my cousins and family friends every summer for the last 7 years. My childcare style is safe, nurturing, play-based, and responsive. I enjoy child-led learning, outdoor adventures, creative arts and crafts, reading, board games, and supporting kids with homework. I can help with school pickups, activity drop-offs, and meal prep.
I also have experience with dog walking, feeding, and house/pet sitting. I offer light cleaning, organizing, grocery runs, and help with errands.
