Hello! My name is Cara and I am a rising senior at Scripps College, a small liberal arts school in California. I am a sociology major who is interested in art, music, yoga, helping kids, and hope to one day get my masters in social work. I have over 5 years of experience working with kids from being a camp counselor, a teachers assistant in charter schools, and an inclusion companion at Nssra for children with disabilities. I would describe myself as kind, attentive, responsible, mature, and fun-loving. I am also more than happy to provide additional references. I am continuing to take classes this summer in the Chicago area so I have a flexible schedule that I can adjust to around need. I am a very experienced when it comes to all ages of childcare. I’ve spent more than 10+ years working with children all the way up to 13 years of age. With infants, I’m very vigilant and interactive, I keep them entertained and always smiling and I make sure that the schedule a parent has in place is always followed. I’m very patient with kids and will always make sure they are taken care of to the best of ability. With older children, I take care of them with their afterschool activities and if a parent wish to do other outings I am always available to spend a fun afternoon out.

Hi, I’m interested in helping you out with occasional babysitting, pet sitting, and running errands. I make an effort to be interactive with children; reading, playing board games, building legos, puzzles, playing dress-up, baking, spending time outside, playing the piano, singing, etc. I have worked with children in a school setting as an aide and I love working on homework. I try to make it fun! I love dogs and have enjoyed raising a few of my own. I have also raised a few of my own kids. I have experience with babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers, 5 year olds through teenage-years. I enjoy spending time with seniors and keeping them engaged or tending to their needs. I’m comfortable driving if you need your people or pet transported. I am a college educated native English speaker, I am also fluent in Ukrainian. I have studied Spanish and French in high school and French in college. I am looking forward to meeting new families in 2025!
