Hi, my name is Gladys. I am a nurse who will be retiring soon. I am a mother of 4 and a grandmother to 8. I cook, clean, read, and play. I have been doing this for a lifetime and I would love to continue some work on the side. I enjoy cooking, baking, and watching movies with the kids. I love children and I love to help out in my free time.

My whole life I’ve been in a household where my mom would babysit different ages. I was doing at home babysitting until I was of age to start working at a Daycare Center. I have nanny for multiple families sometimes full time sometimes occasionally events. I have worked with infants 3 months- 10 year olds. I am currently working with a family of 2 kiddos ages 3 and 5. They will be going to school full time so they are letting me go by the end of august. I also assisted medical classes and worked at a nursing home before. I love working with kids their joy and growth is such an amazing thing to me. I enjoying watching them grow and seeing milestones. I also know basic sign language, fluent in Spanish and can help with speech delay!

I am a grandma of two girls 3 & 5. I have been babysitting since I was 15 and still in contact with the family. I most recently cared for my mother who has Alzheimers but as her mind deteriorated she had to be put in a home. I recently moved to Illinois to be closer to my grandchildren. I love caring for kids of all ages.
