I am a college student at UIC right now for music education. I moved to Chicago three years ago for school. I used to babysit a lot back in Wisconsin but haven’t had the connections here yet. I really miss it. I have two younger siblings who I have been watching since I was as old as ten but I started babysitting for others at age 12. It was from ages 3 to 16. I also had a family who I took care of their three kids for two weeks when they went on vacation. I can cook, I like to play/create games, color, read, play sports etc

Hi! My name is Leslie, I’m 20 years old, and I’m in my last semester of Early Childhood Learning. Caring for children has always been a big part of my life—I started out helping with my younger siblings, cousins, and niece, and over the years I’ve had the most experience with toddlers and school-aged children. I’ve also had the privilege of caring for my cousin with autism, which has helped me understand that every child has their own unique needs and ways of learning. I enjoy doing whatever kids love—whether that’s running around outside, reading books, working on puzzles, or getting creative with arts and crafts. I currently work at PetSmart, so I’ve gained knowledge about many different types of animals. At home, I have four cats and a guinea pig, so I’m very comfortable with both small and larger pets. I can help with walking, feeding, playtime, and making sure they get the love and attention they need. I’m also happy to support families with day-to-day needs like light cleaning, preparing simple meals and snacks, grocery shopping, and running errands.
