I have a lot of experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, and young children, including caring for children from newborn through age 5. I spent three years working in a daycare infant room and two years in the toddler room, so I’m very comfortable with everything from newborn routines and bottle feeding to naps, playtime, early learning, and keeping busy little ones engaged. Outside of professional care work, I am an arts administrator with a focus on dance and performance. I have produced dance festivals, performance series, and fundraising events. Recently, I got into the puppet biz—I co-directed my first puppetry piece in 2024 and am currently developing a puppet festival for summer 2025. I am also a collective member and coordinator with the Chicago Childcare Collective (ChiChiCo)—a group of volunteers who support the participation of parents, especially mothers, in racial and economic justice work. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. I set aside this time specifically for your booking, and last-minute cancellations prevent me from connecting with other families. 2. If you no-show, I ask to be compensated for the full booking. Minimum Booking Requirement 1. I prefer a minimum booking of four hours. 2. Since I plan my time and budget around scheduled hours, I kindly request payment for the full booking, even if you arrive home early. Interviews 1. Please avoid scheduling interviews on Friday and Saturday evenings. 2. Phone interviews are preferred. Safety All firearms and weapons in the home must be safely locked and secured. COVID Precautions 1. I will remain masked indoors. 2. During sleep hours, I may request to unmask depending on your comfort level and proximity to the child.

Hello! (Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as of 2/2/21) I love working with kids, and have professionally worked with children from toddler age to teens for over 8 years now! I have 5 years experience at a summer day camp back in my home town of Minneapolis, teaching classes from art to gymnastics for children ages 3-11. In addition, I worked with a program called JumpStart at DePaul University, where me and 4 other college students were placed in a preschool classroom on the west side of Chicago to provide teaching assistant support.
