Hello! I'm Medb and I use they/them pronouns. I'm 22 years old and am a psychology and statistics student at Cal Poly Humboldt, though am currently home in Lincoln Park for the summer. Since I was 12, I've worked for an organization called CircEsteem, a youth circus located in Uptown. There, I was a counselor, coach, and mentor for kids ages 2-17. I was immersed in a very diverse environment, and gained experience caring for children with different support needs. I also have taken care of infants as young as 3 months. As a sitter, and more broadly as an individual, I ground myself in the values of empathy, creativity, community, and self-esteem. Through play and art, I hope to aid in teaching kids the importance of loving ourselves and others.
