I have 3 adult children of my own and was a PTO president for 6 years. I also was a caregiver at Sunrise Senior living on the memory care floor. I took care of my grandparents and parents. I moved in to care for my father who had Parkinson's disease in the last years of his life. He was bedridden for last 8 months of his life and myself and oldest daughter were his only caregivers. I've worked with adults with disabilities too. I have had animals all of my life and am able to walk small to medium sized dogs. Since the age of 14, I've been passionate about childcare, starting with training at my local library. I stayed active throughout my four years of high school by doing gymnastics. In high school I also took 2 full years of Early Childhood Studies including a preschool class where we did lesson planning and taught preschoolers all subjects.By 15, I began working at a restaurant in arlington heights, where I stayed for a bit over three years. During this time, I also took small courses in childcare and realized my true calling was to become a nanny. I’m bilingual and enjoy teaching the little ones a bit!
