Hi Parents, My name is Donna, and I am an experienced, CPR-certified nanny with a background in Early Child Development. I have extensive experience caring for multiple children from infancy through school age, including managing meal prep and bedtime routines. I love engaging children in hands-on activities like arts, crafts, and imaginary play. I am energetic, flexible, and dedicated to providing nurturing care. Additionally, I am happy to assist with light housekeeping and always ensure spaces are cleaned before I leave. I have excellent reviews from long-term families and look forward to connecting with you. Thank you for your time. Best, Donna R.

Donna was a nanny for my two grandchildren for two years. One was a newborn and the other was a toddler. My daughter does not do social media so she asked I write this for her. Donna is a very attentive, hands on, loving and caring nanny. She is wonderful at helping children reach milestones and is a pro at recommending what toys develop motor hand -eye coordination, She loved taking the children to the park and going on walks with the stroller and playtime always included a motor or cognitive development lesson. As well as reading to them. My grandkids loved her. She is also an amazing cook and baker and made nutritious and delicious meals for the kids. I think she would be a wonderful asset to any parent in helping their child develop and the parent can work and have peace of mind that their child is in good hands,

Hi! I'm a DePaul University graduate with 10+ years of experience caring for children from infancy through the teen years as a nanny, babysitter, tutor, and violin teacher. I speak English, Spanish, Farsi, and Arabic, and have been a violinist for over 15 years. I have extensive experience with infants, toddlers, school-age children, and teens, including feeding, naps, developmental play, homework help, transportation, and bedtime routines. I'm also experienced caring for children and adults with special needs, including autism and developmental disabilities, and I strive to provide patient, individualized, and compassionate care. Beyond childcare, I have experience as a household manager and personal assistant, helping with meal prep, laundry, organization, errands, scheduling, light housekeeping, and keeping busy households running smoothly. I'm also comfortable caring for pets and can assist with feeding, walking, medications, and daily care. Families describe me as reliable, warm, organized, and proactive. I have my own reliable car, a clean driving record, am fully vaccinated (including COVID booster), and do not smoke. I'm available for occasional, part-time, short-term, overnight, and last-minute bookings. I'd love the opportunity to support your family and provide dependable, engaging, and attentive care for your children and home. ----- Booking Policies My time and budget is planned around the hours booked, so I ask that you honor payment for the entire booking, regardless if you come home early. I'm also generally flexible if you need me to stay later than scheduled as long as that is communicated to me. Cash or Zelle are my preferred payment methods. Tips are always appreciated but never expected. Thank you!

Back on US and ready to hang! I approach care with the intent of meeting kids and families where they are. To me, this means understanding and engaging with a person based on their current situation, needs, abilities, or emotional state. By doing so, I develop relationships with care, emotional consideration, trust, and humor. I love discovering what excites kids and engaging with them through activities that spark their interests. This might include playing their favorite games (or inventing new ones), reading books, doing art projects, playing outside, going on walks, and more. I genuinely enjoy spending time with children, and that enthusiasm shines through in my interactions. Outside of professional care work, I am an arts administrator with a focus on dance and performance. I have produced dance festivals, performance series, and fundraising events. Recently, I got into the puppet biz—I co-directed my first puppetry piece in 2024 and am currently developing a puppet festival for summer 2025. I am also a collective member and coordinator with the Chicago Childcare Collective (ChiChiCo)—a group of volunteers who support the participation of parents, especially mothers, in racial and economic justice work. I am willing to explore some of the new services, such as pet care, US have added since my hiatus. I grew up with Great Danes and love critters! Policies & Guidelines Cancellations 1. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. I set aside this time specifically for your booking, and last-minute cancellations prevent me from connecting with other families. 2. If you no-show, I ask to be compensated for the full booking. Minimum Booking Requirement 1. I prefer a minimum booking of four hours. 2. Since I plan my time and budget around scheduled hours, I kindly request payment for the full booking, even if you arrive home early. Interviews 1. Please avoid scheduling interviews on Friday and Saturday evenings. 2. Phone interviews are preferred. Safety All firearms and weapons in the home must be safely locked and secured. COVID Precautions 1. I will remain masked indoors. 2. During sleep hours, I may request to unmask depending on your comfort level and proximity to the child.

"We absolutely LOVE Isa — our family was so fortunate to have found her through UrbanSitter. I'm a first-time mom, and it took me a long time to find a full-time nanny I could trust to care for our sweet infant boy. Our boy connected with her immediately, and we couldn't have asked for anyone else to care for him. Her calming presence was also perfect for parents like us who work from home. We feel so lucky UrbanSitter helped us find someone who has truly become a part of our family."

"I was so stressed about finding a part-time nanny for my 14-month-old son, who has moderate separation anxiety and hadn't been left with anyone but family before, but we were both immediately at ease in Buhay's presence. Her empathy and commitment to understanding child development are apparent in every interaction I've witnessed between her and my toddler. I feel very lucky to have found her."

"Erna watched our now 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son for a few years. She is punctual, responsible, honest, and playful. What we appreciated most was that she was thoughtful in ensuring that we had a little break; for example, when the kids were clingy, she was able to divert their attention with games or songs or walks to the park. We felt very comfortable leaving our kids with Erna because of her caring nature and experience that spans a decade (including being a live-in nanny)."
