I have always had a passion for working with children. Ever since I can remember, I would care for my siblings and babysit younger cousins. I am a former Montessori teacher for a Toddler Spanish Immersion classroom and worked with about 12 children a day, ages 2-3. I was also an assistant in a 3-6 year old Montessori Spanish classroom. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am COVID vaccinated and can provide proof of this. My hobbies besides babysitting include cooking, working out and watching movies. My personal experience as a caregiver starts with helping my older sister with my nephew’s care while I was in my 20’s, then raising my own three daughters, who are now decent young ladies. I understand the amount of work required to raise children specially when in nowdays society requires mothers to help support the household, which is why I am interested in lending a helping hand and while enjoying doing what I know the most of, caring for children. However, caregiving for children is not my only area of expertice, I as well have some experience with seniors, since between 2[removed] I had to take care of a family member that required full time care due to inability of taking care of basic needs from brushing teeth, meal preping for specific nutritional needs, maintaining all areas and utensils clean to avoid infections, feeding through feeding tube and some other activities. Hi my name Susan. I am offering child care services. I have experience working with newborns to 10 year olds. My first job (when I was 15) was taking care of 2 kids in my home. I enjoyed it so much I was sure I would have a career in child care. My senior year of high school I Nannied for 3 kids, all under the age of 10. A couple of years after I stopped nanny the kids, my nephew was born and I became his secondary care giver . All of my friends have children as well and I’ve gained experience through them as well. I currently work with a family of two boys ages 4 and 7. I have been working for them for 2.5 years. I currently create schedules, laundry, cleaning, and creative activities. My strengths are remaining calm and patient in high pressure and creative problem solving. I pride myself in becoming an addition to the family and helping them stay organized and on schedule. I am a strong believer in learning at a young age. I would offer learning a second language, learning numbers, colors, and shapes, as long as having intellectual conversations and developmental experiences to help your child be the smartest cookie! I am bilingual and know a little bit of sign language since my niece uses it as a form of communication. I am willing to teach kids Spanish. The current family and I took a CPR course at home but do not have a certificate to show for it.
